Something old, something new

This mother-daughter duo returns to offer their fourth program of four-hand piano music at Essex Meadows. Donna Stamm received both her Bachelor and Master of Music degrees from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. In her 70-year long musical career, she has been both an educator and performer. Locally, she was Cappella Cantorum’s accompanist for over 20 years and was a founding member of the Con Brio Choral Society in 1997, serving as their accompanist and assistant musical director for 12 years.  Dr. Jeanne Breen is a graduate of Tufts University and the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. After training in Internal Medicine and Infectious Disease at Harvard, she worked for 12 years in the clinical research groups at Bristol-Meyers Squibb and Pfizer.  She teaches at Yale School of Medicine and is a consultant to pharmaceutical/biotechnology industries.  Donna and Jeanne both sit on the Board of Trustees of the Connecticut Early Music Society.
